Lorenz was shot dead by the police in Oldenburg. His death was not a “tragic isolated incident.” It was part of a system that kills again and again. A system that hits Black people, people of color, poor people, refugees, and people with mental illness particularly hard—while at the same time protecting itself from consequences.
On June 29, we will take to the streets in Oldenburg—angry, sad, determined.
