Call to action:

Birthday in Commemoration - Justice for Lorenz
11.05.2025 I Pferdemarkt I 2pm – Manifestation

Lorenz, your death hurts immensely every day - and especially on your 22nd birthday. We want to be with you on your day. We will say your name out loud, tell your story and make sure that the world does not forget you.

Lorenz was a son, a brother, a friend - a part of our community. His death must not be forgotten. And he must not remain without consequences. Justice for Lorenz!

We call on you to commemorate Lorenz together with his relatives, the Justice for Lorenz initiative and many other people - just as we have been doing every day at the memorial site since April 20, 2025. People lay flowers there, light candles and make visible demands against racism and structural violence.

We want to commemorate together - so that we are not alone in our pain and anger, to show solidarity, to denounce the state and racist violence that happened to Lorenz and that killed him.

We demand justice for you, Lorenz. That means: a consistent, independent and complete investigation into the night of the crime - and the role that structural racism played that night. That night - as on all the other days and nights when Black people, refugees and people of color were killed by the police. This violence is systematic. ‼️ LORENZ'S DEATH IS NOT AN ISOLATED CASE‼️

Come to Pferdemarkt on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 2 pm and show your compassion and solidarity.

Call to action:

Justice for Lorenz - Protest

On the night of Easter Sunday, Lorenz was shot dead by police in the center of Oldenburg. Lorenz was only 21 years old.

Many media outlets have already defamed and dehumanized him as a “knife attacker”. But many questions remain unanswered.

For us it is clear:
Lorenz must not be forgotten!
The case must be dealt with properly and there must be consequences. Lorenz must receive justice!

Therefore join our protest:
On Friday, April 25, we will take to the streets for Lorenz.
Start is at Pferdemarkt at 6 pm.

We stand united against racism, which is also structural in the police force.
Lorenz's death is not an isolated case
It has been shown time and again: police operations end fatally when migrant people, BIPoCs and Black people are affected. These are not isolated cases - on the contrary. The names are one after the other, even near Oldenburg: Lamin Touray (Nienburg), Qosay Khalaf (Delmenhorst).
Racist police violence must not remain without consequences!

Justice for Lorenz!
