The public prosecutor's office is bringing charges of negligent homicide against the police officer who shot Lorenz in Oldenburg on Easter Sunday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But for us, this is not a sign of justice, but rather an attempt to avoid responsibility. Multiple shots fired from behind are not an accident; they are an expression of deadly police violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We say clearly: this was not an accident, not a tragic misunderstanding, but an injustice that must have consequences. We demand an independent investigation of all evidence and, finally, investigative bodies outside the police and judiciary. Because as long as the police control themselves, there will be no real justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come to the protest on Saturday, November 8, at 4 p.m. on Schlossplatz in Oldenburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now is not the time to remain silent; we must take to the streets together to demand truth, accountability, and justice for Lorenz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you can't be in Oldenburg, organize your own actions. Show that we are many, loud, united, and determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
